Job Title: Administrative/HR Officer

 

 

 Location: Lagos

Job Brief

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are looking for a skilled Administrative/ HR Officer who will act as the point of contact for all employees, providing support and managing their official issues. You will be responsible for all HR duties; recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will contribute to making the company a better place to work.
Job Description
  • Work with company CEO to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees
  • Manage Office supplies stock and place orders
  • Maintain and update the company’s database
  • Organize a filling system for important and confidential documents.
  • Continually educate employees on company and keep employee handbook current
  • Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive
  • Coordinate and direct work activities for managers and employees
  • Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews and assessments, discussing any problems or grievances they may have
  • Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues
  • Understand and adhere to all pertinent labour laws
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
  • Oversee daily operations of the Organisation
  • Management of all Government levies for the organisation.
QUALIFICATION

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Human resources, Business Administration or related field

·         1-3 years proven work experience as an Administrative Officer or Human Resource Officer

·         Must have solid knowledge of office procedures.

·         CIPM certification would be an advantage.

  • A proven leader with strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate and connect employees regarding all HR matters.
