Our client in the Building & Construction sector specialising in the finishing and interior designing of various building structures is recruiting to fill the position of an Assistant Project Manager:
Qualification
- Candidate must have worked for a minimum of 1 year and above.
- Graduate qualification in any discipline with proper written and verbal communication skills – articulate and diplomatic manner.
- Candidate must have proper organisational and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as part of an effective team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting the Project Manager in the planning, management, project completion, client satisfaction and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.
- Assisting the Project Manager to provide a professional project and design management service internally and externally.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Chair and minute design team meetings.
- Support the Project Manager and Architects in successful project delivery.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Project Managers documentation and methods.
- Develop skills and knowledge to progress towards Project Manager.
- Prepare cost analysis of a project.
- Assist and support project team members in completing the project.
- Develop project reports on a timely basis.
- Maintain, manage and document all project reports and statements.
- Track and maintain project expenditure within its budget.
