It is not enough to be busy…. so are the ants. The question is what are you busy about? When it comes to how work is prioritized and distributed to employees, it is still predominantly manual as workload to a large extent still requires human influence. This means conflicts, bottlenecks, delivery delays cannot be completely eradicated and as a result customer satisfaction may still be impaired. Many in order to become more effective would benefit from tweaking a few skills; for instance excelling at projects and time management would not suffice for not learning new skills or losing track of industry trends. Neither will being adept at managing extraneous work demands suffice for lack of courtesy and emotional intelligence.
