The year is no doubts coming to an end; the question to ask ourselves as individuals is if our resolutions have being accomplished. Making resolutions at the beginning of the  year is one of the brightest things to do but the major thing is working towards achieving them that is why it is important to review the resolutions subsequently.

As much as resolutions are important for an individual, it is also very important to have business resolutions as the impact cannot be underestimated as far your organization is concerned. Goal setting is one very germane thing to do no matter the strength of your business, how profitable it is, or what you sell. Goals are factors that keep you focused and make your business develop.

Every business owners expect to see their businesses thrive better than it did the year before; this is why goals are being put in place to help them have a definite series of plan. Unfortunately, 65% of business owners fail to achieve these goals as a result of unexpected situations during the course of the year due to various factors such as lack of clarification of goals, major focusing on material success alone, lack of visionary employees, failure to put in place necessary tools for carrying out set plans.

In order to have a successful business year, it is very important to put in place necessary pro-active measures to ensure an effective achievement of your already set goals. Here, are some tips to help you meet your targets and goals in your business:

    Identify your high-level goals and objectives
    Track your goals in a visible place
    Define clear milestones
    Connect projects to milestones and goals
    Share progress updates and celebrate success
    Use previous goals and results to inform your planning
